about our pastry studio

petite série makes small-batch patisseries presented in curated séries. Drawing inspiration from subtle nuances in cultures and seasons, our pastry studio crafts gluten-free petite desserts through modern and playful interpretations of classic techniques, achieving an unparalleled lightness and absolute purity of taste.

Each série offers a distinct exploration of flavors, emphasizing high-quality ingredients and innovative pairings based on a season, a place or a flavor note. Best enjoyed in a series, the whole is greater than the sum of the small delights.

the story

Rooted in techniques honed in Le Cordon Bleu Paris and inspired by Northern California’s seasonal bounty, petite série is a San Francisco pastry studio reimagining classic French pâtisserie through a mindful lens. The brand began with a personal mission: crafting exceptional pastry for family with dietary restrictions. Today, petite série offers a 100% gluten-free and vegetarian menu—completely free of wheat and gelatin—preserving the delicate crumb, nuanced flavors, and visual grace of pâtisserie.

The name petite série — a playful nod to pâtisserie — reflects a small-batch philosophy shaped by Japanese aesthetics. Guided by principles of minimalism, balance, and impermanence, each creation is treated as a fleeting, delicate bite meant to be savored in sequence.

This intentionality also guides both kitchen and packaging. Operating on a low-waste production model, every order is presented in BPI-certified compostable and recyclable materials to leave the smallest possible footprint. The result is a harmonious dialogue between Parisian elegance, Japanese restraint, and sustainable craft—gentle on both the body and the earth.
